Terms of Service

Last updated August 30, 2026

Agreement

By adding the Lime Discord bot to a server, logging into its web dashboard, or otherwise using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it. Lime is an independent hobby project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Discord Inc.

What Lime is

Lime is a free entertainment bot: a virtual server economy, gambling and crime mini-games, a customizable shop, marriage/family features, and assorted fun commands. It's provided for entertainment purposes only.

Virtual currency has no real value

Every balance, item, and payout Lime tracks is entirely virtual. It cannot be exchanged, redeemed, purchased, or cashed out for real money, goods, or services of any kind, and never will be. Server admins can reset, adjust, or wipe balances at any time using Lime's admin commands or dashboard.

Acceptable use

By using Lime, you agree not to:

  • Exploit bugs or unintended behavior to gain an unfair advantage, rather than reporting them.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the bot, dashboard, or the servers it runs on.
  • Use Lime for anything that violates Discord's own Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

Server admin responsibility

Server admins control Lime's settings for their own server โ€” currency, prefix, shop, and member balances โ€” and are responsible for how it's configured and used there. Lime's developer isn't responsible for how an individual server chooses to run its own economy.

No warranty, no uptime guarantee

Lime is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. It's a hobby project โ€” it can go offline, lose data, or behave unexpectedly, and there's no guaranteed uptime or support response time. Back up anything you'd genuinely be upset to lose (which, given the currency has no real value, should be nothing).

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lime's developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the bot or dashboard, including loss of data or virtual currency/items.

Termination

Lime's developer may remove the bot from any server, or restrict a user's access to it, at any time and for any reason โ€” most commonly abuse of the acceptable-use terms above.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change as Lime changes. If they change in a meaningful way, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use Lime after an update means you accept the revised terms.
